Aundi (our nanny) was drinking an iced coffee and Ella says to her, "You can't drink that." Aundi asks her why and Ella responds, "because it makes you cough."

Eva has always pronounced pancakes as "kuh-cakes." I've been trying to help her pronounce the "p" and now it just comes out "p-p-p-p kuh-cakes."

When Eva wants my attention she says, "mama. Mama. MAMA." Until I look at her and say, "yes Eva?" She does this all the time. But yesterday we were watching the Nutcracker and, I'm not kidding, every 10 seconds our conversation went as follows:
e: mama. Mama. MAMA.
me: yes Eva
e: kuh-cacker
me: yes Eva, we're watching the Nutcracker

10 seconds later...

e: mama. Mama. MAMA.
me: yes Eva
e: kuh-cacker
me: yes Eva, we're watching the Nutcracker

10 seconds later...

Ella and I were laughing together the other day and she says to me, "I'm so glad I have a mommy and daddy." Then she asks me, "are you glad you have kids?"

I won't allow Ella to watch Roger Rabbit anymore until she's older. Now she wants a dress so she can show her leg like Jessica Rabbit. A three-year-old shouldn't want that!
